Dr. Dustin Bromley is a dedicated, student-centered educational leader committed to building high-performing schools where students, staff, and communities thrive. As Superintendent of Splendora ISD, he leads with a focus on academic excellence, strong relationships, responsible stewardship, and a belief that every student deserves opportunities to achieve their fullest potential. His leadership is grounded in transparency, collaboration, innovation, and a relentless commitment to continuous improvement.
Since becoming superintendent, Dr. Bromley has worked alongside the Board of Trustees, staff, families, and community members to strengthen Splendora ISD through strategic planning, employee support, student achievement initiatives, and investments that prepare the district for continued growth. He has prioritized creating a culture where employees feel valued, students are inspired to succeed, and families are engaged as true partners in education. Under his leadership, the district continues to focus on expanding opportunities for students, attracting and retaining exceptional educators, maintaining fiscal responsibility, and ensuring every decision is centered on what is best for kids.
Prior to serving as superintendent, Dr. Bromley was the Deputy Superintendent of Administration & Support Services for La Porte ISD. During his tenure, he successfully led the passage of a $235 million bond program, oversaw district operations, launched comprehensive professional learning initiatives, and implemented strategies that strengthened employee recruitment, retention, and organizational effectiveness.
Dr. Bromley began his educational career as a teacher and coach in Galena Park ISD, where he developed a passion for serving students and helping others succeed. He later served as principal of Crosby Middle School, where he led the successful opening of a new grades 6–8 campus while improving student achievement, campus culture, staff retention, and school performance. His success led to his appointment as principal of Crosby High School, where he continued to elevate student outcomes through increased academic achievement, improved attendance, and higher graduation rates.
His leadership experience also includes serving as Executive Director of Operations for Crosby ISD, where he worked to enhance district systems, improve operational efficiency, and support learning environments that allowed students and staff to excel.
Throughout his career, Dr. Bromley has earned a reputation as an innovative, collaborative leader who believes lasting success is built through trust, teamwork, and a shared vision. He is passionate about developing leaders, empowering educators, and creating systems that allow both students and employees to reach their highest potential. His leadership philosophy centers on continuous growth, servant leadership, and the belief that excellence is achieved through intentional work and strong relationships.
Dr. Bromley earned his Doctor of Education degree from Lamar University and has received numerous professional recognitions, including Principal of the Year and Assistant Principal of the Year. He remains actively involved in professional organizations and is committed to lifelong learning and educational leadership.
Outside of his professional responsibilities, Dr. Bromley enjoys spending time with his family. He is married to Erin Bromley, and together they are the proud parents of three kids—Owen, Liam, and Blake. The Bromley family enjoys supporting their community, attending school and athletic events, and making lasting memories together.
