Shellby Sanders is a proud native of Splendora, Texas, and a 2022 graduate of Splendora High School. During her time there, she developed a strong foundation in leadership, teamwork, and community involvement through both academic and extracurricular achievements.
Shellby received numerous accolades in athletics, including “First Team All-District” honors in both volleyball and basketball. She was also named “Girls Soccer Goalkeeper of the Year” after just two seasons on the field. Her involvement extended beyond sports. She was active in FFA, participating in agricultural advocacy and veterinary science competitions, and raising a lamb in her senior year. That same year, she was honored as Homecoming Queen.
Following graduation, Shellby pursued her passion for funeral service, earning her degree with honors from the Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Services in 2023. She currently serves families with compassion and professionalism as a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer at Eickenhorst Funeral Services, proudly supporting Montgomery County and surrounding communities.
Shellby is deeply committed to guiding individuals and families through some of life’s most difficult moments with care that is both personal and professional. Her small-town upbringing has instilled in her a strong sense of connection, integrity, and empathy—qualities that shape her approach to service.
Outside of her professional work, Shellby is actively involved in her church and regularly participates in Bible studies and small group ministries. Her relationship with Christ is her foundation, and it influences the way she serves others with compassion, humility, and purpose. Shellby also enjoys traveling with her family, creating memories with friends, and embracing new adventures.
