Jennifer Inkster

Jennifer Inkster graduated from Splendora High School’s Class of 2000. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts degree and graduated from the Texas Parks and Wildlife Game Warden Academy in 2005. Her first duty station was in Gregg County, then Harris County, and now Galveston County. She is a member of the Texas Maritime Tactical Operations Group (MTOG), a specialized unit composed of trained, equipped, and tactically proficient Game Wardens. She is a certified Drug Recognition Expert, trained for Dignitary Protection Assignments, and was recently featured in a series called Women Following the Road Less Traveled. 

When asked what does it mean to be a Wildcat, Jennifer replied, "Pride, tradition, honor...being a part of SHS history!”

Tammy Sims Hicks

Tammy Sims Hicks is a Class of 2000 graduate of Splendora High School. She was involved in many extracurricular activities during high school and graduated in the Top Ten. After high school, she attended the University of Texas at Austin and received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. In 2007, she graduated from St. Edward's University with a Master of Arts in Counseling, and in 2009, she became a licensed professional counselor. She currently works as a therapist at the Kimberly Boyd Counseling Center.

She and her husband, Micah, have been married for 14 years and have 12-year-old twins (boy/girl). She enjoys spending time with her family and friends in her spare time.

When asked what it means to be a Wildcat, she replied, "It means being a part of a community and having friends who are like family."
