Class of 2015

Kristen Humphrey

Kristen Humphrey is a graduate from Splendora High School’s Class of 2015. Graduating from SHS with an Associate’s Degree, Kristen continued her education at Texas A&M University as a Visualization major (a curriculum that focuses on animation, graphic design, and video game design). She graduated in December of 2018 with a Bachelor of Science degree. She recently landed her dream job at an illustration agency called Astound where she is connected with children’s book publishers. She also creates artwork for private customers, kids’ games, animation, and more. During her senior year at SHS, Kristen was very unsure and nervous about choosing an artistic career path; however, she is so happy that she chose to pursue her passion. She hopes to inspire other young artists to do the same.

When asked what does it mean to be a Wildcat, Kristen replied, "As a SHS Wildcat, I developed a strong sense of responsibility and work ethic. I was given amazing opportunities in my early academic and artistic career at SHS that I will always be grateful for. I will never forget the great friends and memories I made as a Wildcat.“

Addyson Angers

Addyson Angers graduated from Splendora High School in 2015. During her time there, she was involved in cheerleading  (serving as head cheerleader her senior year), early college high school, and a member of the National Honor Society. She was named Homecoming Queen her senior year. She graduated in the top 10% and attended Texas A&M University where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology. After graduating from Texas A&M in three years, Addyson applied and was accepted into South Texas College of Law in Houston. She earned her Juris Doctorate and went on to pass the Texas Bar Exam (UBE) on her first attempt. She now works at the McCormick Law Firm outside of Dallas.

What does it mean to Addyson Angers to be a SHS Wildcat?  “In my experience, being a Wildcat means that a dream is never too big. I could never have imagined accomplishing everything I have today, but with the values and experiences that Splendora taught me, I was able to fulfill my biggest dreams and still have time to imagine new ones. Hard work was never an option at Splendora, it was a necessity. I will always be grateful to have had that lesson introduced to me at such a young age. Being a Wildcat instilled in me a level of dedication and confidence that has allowed me to succeed in school, in my career, and in my personal life. I will forever be thankful to be a Wildcat. We See Red!”
