The Splendora ISD Communications Department promotes positive, educational communication among students, staff, parents, and the community. The department utilizes multiple venues to increase parental and community engagement and communicate the achievements of our staff and students. Primary responsibilities include:

Internal and External Communications: Crisis/Urgent Messaging, Employee Updates, Media Relations, Press Releases, Public-facing Messaging

Marketing and Branding: Brand Strategy, Visual Identity, Campaign Development, Content Marketing, Social Media Strategy

Content and Storytelling: Writing, Editing, Videoing, Graphics, Photography, Impact Stories, Recognition, Social Media Channels

Digital Management: Website Strategy, Analytics

Public Information Officer: Government & Agency Transparency, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Requests, Public Records Management

ParentSquare Notification System

Splendora ISD uses ParentSquare, a unified communication platform that keeps families connected. ParentSquare will be the only communication tool used by the district, campus, and teachers.

ParentSquare provides a safe way for district administrators, school principals, teachers, staff, and parents to:

  • Send and receive school and class information
  • See calendar events
  • Schedule parent-teacher conferences
  • and much more...all in one centralized place!

Please download ParentSquare from your phone's app store. Log in using the email you have listed in Skyward Family Access. Once logged in, verify your email and phone number. Make sure your phone number is a cell phone, not a landline. If you have any issues, please email the Communications Department.

Flyer Distribution

Splendora ISD Board Policy GKDA allows certain non-school organizations to distribute literature through the district's online flyers page.

Organizations interested in having a flyer posted on the district website should complete the Flyer Distribution Request Form.
