Class of 2013

Lynze Brode is a graduate from Splendora High School’s Class of 2013. This was also the first graduating class of “Early College,” where Lynze obtained her Associate’s Degree, as well as her high school diploma. After high school, Lynze attended and graduated from Texas A&M University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Geophysics. In 2017, she became part of the Arlington Police Department where she spent the beginning of her career on patrol as a beat officer. Lynze is currently a Detective with the Robbery/Gang Investigations unit.She is tasked with investigating violent crimes against persons such as Robberies and Aggravated Robberies. Lynze is engaged to T.J. Schaefer and they have two dogs!

When asked what does it mean to be a SHS Wildcat, Lynze replied, “The support, education, and care that was provided to me by the coaches, teachers, and community, gave me the tools and inspiration to be who I am today.”
