Class of 2012 Home

Amayramy Solis Risney is a graduate from Splendora High School’s Class of 2012.  She received her Bachelor’s degree from Sam Houston State University (SHSU) and her Master of Science degree in Victim Services Management in August 2017 at SHSU.  She currently works for the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office as a Victim Assistance Coordinator and is assigned to a Special Victims Unit, assisting victims of violent crimes, specifically, domestic violence. “Although it is at times stressful, I am able to come home everyday to my husband and 16-month old daughter, and of course our two pups,” said Amy.

When asked what does it mean to be a Wildcat, Amy replied, "I am so proud to be a Wildcat, seeing where I am today. With the help of Splendora's Early College Program, I was able to complete my undergraduate degree early, and jumped straight into a graduate program. The educators I had continue to influence me into striving to become the person I have hoped to be!“
