Jackie Kimberly Knott is a long-time resident and graduate of Splendora High School’s Class of 1990. She and her husband, Daniel, have three daughters – Erin (Class of 2009), Heather (Class of 2013), and Honor (Class of 2022), and a granddaughter, “Jellybean” (Timber Lakes Elementary student) and are expecting their grandson (the first boy of the family) in just a few months. Jackie attended Texas A&M University and has worked for Insperity, a local Fortune 500 company, for over 21 years. As if three daughters and a full-time job haven’t kept Jackie busy enough, she’s also volunteered for numerous organizations within the community, including service on the Splendora ISD Board of Trustees for almost a decade, president of the Splendora Founder’s Day organization for five years, and Treasurer for the Splendora Area Softball Association for several years. Although Jackie is now an ‘empty-nester,’ she greatly loves Splendora and plans to continue to serve the community and District.
When asked what it means to be a Wildcat, Jackie said, “As a Wildcat, I’m a member of a family. As with any family, we may not always see eye-to-eye, but we are always there for each other. Whether a family loses their home from a fire, a flood destroys a neighborhood, or a student faces heartbreaking health concerns – we show up, build up, and celebrate each other. That’s what it means to be a Wildcat.”

Daniel Morrow graduated from Splendora High School in 1992. After high school and some college, he decided to go into the workforce where he had multiple jobs before landing at his current company Webber LLC. Webber is a Heavy Highway Contractor in Houston. They build a lot of our highways and bridges in and around Texas. Recently Webber has expanded into the East Coast and Florida. Daniel started with the company as a Project Engineer in 2004 and through the years has been promoted to Construction Manager for the Company’s Heavy Civil division.
LeeAnn Morrow graduated from Splendora High School in 1990. In 2000, she joined Splendora ISD, where she had multiple jobs in the district before taking the HR Specialist position in 2013. She is now the secretary to both the Chief Administration Officer and the Executive Director of Human Resources.
Daniel and LeeAnn married on December 3, 1994, and have been married for almost 29 years. They have two children, Jacob Morrow and Brianne Nash, and three grandchildren, Brynleigh Grace Morrow, Karter, and Kashton Nash. This year the couple began Cooking with Dan and Lou on YouTube @daniel_morrow_outdoors. While the couple claims they cooked basic meals when their children were growing up, they are now learning to cook from scratch and compare packaged meals to homemade. Dan said, “I’m sure some people love to try the meals we cook and come here for recipes, but most, I’m sure, come for the banter between the two of us.”
When asked what does it mean to be a Wildcat, the couple said, “Being a Wildcat means you have to work hard together and to work together as a team is always more effective. We learned this in Splendora High School and we carry these values with us at home and on our jobs.”
