Class of 2010

Ritchie Family

The Ritchie sisters make us proud! All three are graduates from Splendora High School and all three have chosen education for their careers!
Stephanie Ritchie Morse graduated SHS in 2002. She was a player on the State Champion LadyCat Softball team, the EMC Fair Queen, and SHS Homecoming Queen. Stephanie attended Sam Houston State University where she obtained her degree in Elementary Education in 2007, taught in Conroe ISD for five years, and joined the SISD team in 2012. She received her Masters in Educational Technology Leadership from Lamar University in 2015 and is now the District Reading Specialist. Tiffany Ritchie Buntion is from the Class of 2006. Tiffany was a varsity softball letterman all four years at SHS and landed a spot as a McNeese State University Cowgirl. Tiffany later transferred to Sam Houston State University where she graduated in 2012 with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology and a minor in Education. Tiffany has spent the last 10 years in education coaching and teaching athletes as a Varsity Softball Coach, Girl’s Athletic Coordinator, and physical education teacher. This year, she joins the SJH coaching staff. Brittany Ritchie Vick graduated in 2010. She played softball and was part of the Splendora FFA chapter where she held different offices and showed livestock. Brittany went to Sam Houston State University where she graduated with her degree in Early Childhood Education in 2017. She started her teaching career in Splendora in 2017 where she has been a kindergarten teacher.

What does it mean to the Ritchie sisters to be SHS Wildcats? “Being Wildcats means family. This community has helped us become the women and educators we are today. During the best and most difficult times, our Wildcat family has shown up without question. We are Splendora, We are Wildcats!”

Rebeccah Rosebush

Rebeccah Rosebush is a Splendora High School Class of 2010 graduate. After graduating from high school, Rebeccah continued her education and graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice. While working on her master’s degree, Rebeccah worked full time as a child protective service (CPS) worker. Witnessing the plight of her clients, Rebeccah wanted to provide more assistance to victims of violence and enrolled in Thurgood Marshall School of Law in 2017. Her determination to graduate helped her survive the chaos of a global pandemic and she graduated law school in May 2020. Shortly after graduation, Rebeccah received her mediation certification and is
currently working as a document reviewer for a large company while awaiting her bar results.

What does it mean to be a SHS Wildcat?  “Being a Wildcat means that you take pride in who you are and what you represent to those around you. Being a Wildcat has always shown me that you make your own path.”

Christina Christensen Kinard

Christina Christensen Kinard graduated from Splendora ISD in 2010, ranking 5th in her class. Before the early college high school program was established, she earned college credits through courses offered at the school and by attending night classes at Lone Star College-Kingwood during her junior and senior years. Christina was an active member of FFA, varsity softball, track, varsity cheer (serving as captain), and class historian.

After high school, she attended Sam Houston State University, earning a Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a minor in Business Communications in just two years. She began her career as a Sales Tax Administrator in a corporate office, overseeing and processing multi-state and Canadian taxes and assisting with foreign insurance. While working in this role for three years, Christina pursued her passion for education by enrolling in Texas Teachers of Tomorrow to obtain her teaching certification.

Now in her ninth year in education, Christina is a third-grade teacher at Piney Woods Elementary, where her children attend. She has completed two years in the Exceptional Leadership Academy and has played a key role on the district design team since its inception. Christina dedicates countless hours to creating unique learning experiences for her students, advocating for their needs academically and beyond—guiding them to become well-rounded individuals. She is also a strong voice for her campus and fellow teachers, working to help the campus achieve its goals.

When asked what it means to be a Wildcat, Christina shared:
"It means family. Every coach, teacher, and friend guided and pushed me to overcome every obstacle I faced. Being a Wildcat is the foundation that has shaped who I am today!"
