Daniel Morrow graduated from Splendora High School in 1992. After high school and some college, he decided to go into the workforce where he had multiple jobs before landing at his current company Webber LLC. Webber is a Heavy Highway Contractor in Houston. They build a lot of our highways and bridges in and around Texas. Recently Webber has expanded into the East Coast and Florida. Daniel started with the company as a Project Engineer in 2004 and through the years has been promoted to Construction Manager for the Company’s Heavy Civil division.
LeeAnn Morrow graduated from Splendora High School in 1990. In 2000, she joined Splendora ISD where she had multiple jobs in the district before taking the HR Specialist position in 2013. She is now the secretary to both the Chief Administration Officer and Executive Director of Human Resources.
Daniel and LeeAnn married on December 3, 1994, and have been married for almost 29 years. They have two children, Jacob Morrow and Brianne Nash, three grandchildren, Brynleigh Grace Morrow and Karter and Kashton Nash. This year the couple began Cooking with Dan and Lou on YouTube @daniel_morrow_outdoors. While the couple claims they cooked basic meals when their children were growing up, they are now learning to cook from scratch and compare packaged meals to homemade. Dan said, “I’m sure some people love to try the meals we cook and come here for recipes, but most, I’m sure, come for the banter between the two of us.”
When asked what does it mean to be a Wildcat, the couple said, “Being a Wildcat means you have to work hard together and to work together as a team is always more effective. We learned this in Splendora High School and we carry these values with us at home and on our jobs.”

Wesley Swanson graduated from Splendora High School in 1992. As a Wildcat athlete, Wesley lettered in football and track. He was the vice president of the Auto Club and graduated in the Top 10 of his class. Wesley was also part of the infamous "Buck and Frog" show, a duo that performed the daily morning announcements. At age 16, Wesley became actively involved in the Splendora Volunteer Fire Department, where he found his calling. Over the years, he served in multiple roles, including Fire Chief from 1998 to 2001. Currently, Wesley still serves the fire service of East Montgomery County as vice president of Emergency Service District #7.
After graduation, Wesley worked for several years and then decided to further his education. He attended Sam Houston State University for three years, majoring in criminal justice. In 1998, Wesley landed his dream job of becoming a professional firefighter with the Houston Fire Department, where he has proudly served for 26 years. Currently, Wesley holds the prestigious rank of District Chief at District 34 in northeast Houston.
Wesley's famous saying is that he "attended Splendora schools from day one to day last." In school, Wesley developed many deep friendships that still last today. Many teachers also played an important role in his life. Teachers such as Linda DeFord, Judy Backhus, the Findeisens, and the McShans had a lasting impact on him. He believes those days were special because many educators and office staff were either from Splendora or spent their entire careers there, meaning that every kid was special to them. It also meant they knew your parents and students could not get away with anything!! Those were the days.
To Wesley, "being a Wildcat" means growing up in a place that was absolutely perfect in those days. It means almost everyone you went to school with became like family, and it means you learned how to always give back to a community that took care of you.
Wesley is married to Stacey Trammell Swanson, also a Splendora graduate. They have two children, Brady, class of 2024, and Presley, class of 2030. Wesley and Stacey's families have long traditions as Wildcats, going back multiple generations.
